Biography

Michel Debroux worked for the legal department of the European Commission before starting to practice French and European competition law in 1992.

He advises clients in the energy, telecommunications, infrastructure, financial services and media sectors on both transactional and contentious matters.

He is a renowned specialist in state subsidies and his extensive client base ranges from subsidy granting bodies to subsidy recipients or competing recipients.

He provides frequent training on competition law and anti-corruption matters, in particular for clients in the luxury, energy, paper distribution, chemical, DIY distribution and telecommunication sectors
