Biography

Sophie works on all aspects of international trade and customs law. She advises companies on restructuring their international merchandise flows, both in respect of managing customs, indirect taxes as well as logistical requirements.

Her practice focuses on providing assistance with audits and disputes (including advising during the audit itself and on criminal law matters, before national & EU court of justice) in various areas of international trade such as export control, sanctions, trade defense, energy & environmental taxation, CBAM.

She also advises on risk analyses and due diligence reviews.

Sophie provides frequent training to company heads and managers on managing customs risks, as well as on customs, export control & indirect tax issues among others.
