Biografía

Véronique Fröding has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1989 and became a partner at DS Avocats in 2017 after practicing with Gide Loyrette Nouel.

She advises an international client base on the transactional and contentious aspects of cross-border investments in the fields of company and economic law, in particular in the field of product liability.

She has also developed specific expertise in energy law and regularly advises investors on the development, acquisition and financing of power plants, as well as on construction, operation and maintenance contracts.

Her expertise extends to regulatory, contractual and transactional aspects in various energy sectors, including electricity, gas, on-shore and off-shore wind projects, solar energy, biomass, and energy efficiency.

She also advises on energy sale and purchase contracts, capacity guarantees, CO2 quotas and certificates of origin.

Véronique also assists with sustainable mobility issues, including intelligent networks, electric charging stations, self-driving cars, etc.

Her in-depth understanding of the market enables her to advise her public and private clients, in their own language, on all aspects of their transactions.

In particular, she is a member of the steering committee of the Franco-German Office for Energy Transition (OFATE).
